We are six manuscripts deep and we have six more to go - YIPPEE!!!! Julie Hedlund, host of the 12 x 12 in 2012 threw us a blog party over at her blog to celebrate our accomplishment - click here to check it out
<---- I printed all my title pages to my six drafts from January to June.
Since I seem at always feel like I should be more productive with my writing, I recommend doing this.
It was as if my drafts were saying, "See, you've been busy."
Now on to celebrate...
Maybe you guys can help me decide what I should do this weekend?
A) Go to the greatest restaurant in the whole world....Applebee's?
Okay, may have exaggerated with the BEST in the whole world but I'd order this in a heartbeat! |
B) Finally order Fifty Shades of Gray for my Nook?
C) Go out dancing?
No, not with John Travolta but who knows, he might be cutting the rug at good 'ol Applebee's |
D) All of the above???
Hmmm....decisions decisions!
Thanks for dropping by my blog today and a big THANK YOU
to Julie Hedlund for hosting the 12 x 12 in 2012!!!

DeleteWahoo! If you can only pick one, go DANCING. But if you can have it all, have it ALL. Way to go. I like the idea of taking a picture of the manuscripts. It feels so official in the making.
ReplyDeleteThanks for the suggestions, I'll try my hardest to get out dancing! :)
DeleteThanks for stopping by Hannah!!
It's party time! Let your hair down and dance away, Jennifer. You have to practice your happy dance for more publishing contracts to come!

ReplyDeleteYes, I still am too. Still haven't bought it yet.

ReplyDeleteYes it does! Thanks Deb!!!
DeleteMy vote is for all of the above! :)
ReplyDeleteThanks for the help and for stopping bye:)
DeleteDo you have to choose just one? Do what you love, I say. :)
ReplyDeleteGreat post to celebrate 6 in 12x12.
Will do Lynn, thanks for your suggestion! :)
DeleteCongrats, Jen, for completing 6 in 6! I like the idea of printing them out. Mine are still on my iPad...
ReplyDeleteThanks Jarm! I can't wait to get one of those!!
DeleteCongrats to you too!!
Congratulations. That's a good point about printing them out. If I chose just one, I'd say dessert! You'll have to let me know about 50 shades of gray. I've heard so many mixed reviews about the writing. The story is apparently interesting. The newspaper in our ultra-conservative town noted the market for the book as it had more than 1000 holds on it at the library.
ReplyDeleteThank you Stacy! That's too funny about the holds being that high. I think I'd want my own copy if I have to wait that long haha!
DeleteJen, the party's over, hope you did them all! If not, parties go on long after the partytime is done. By the way, Poison Apple Pie is my granddaughter's favorite MeeGenius. It has sparked a string of 'tell me a story Poppi about a witch' that has brought a few PB ideas out of me!
ReplyDeleteThanks, love your site.
Wow, that is wonderful to hear. *blushing* I'm so glad she likes it and that it helped you think of writing ideas.
DeleteThanks for all the compliments and for visiting my blog :)
