Back from Disney

Last week I was in Disney World with my husband and three kids.  I posted some picture below to share a glimpse of our fun.   I'd love to write all about the perfect weather and exciting time we had at the parks but whatever I write won't justify what it was like being there.
Instead, I wanted to post write about the PiBoIdMo Challenge. I'm happy to say that on my vacation I thought of at least one picture book idea each day and wrote it down in my little (now crusty looking) notebook.
I'm not promising you'll find anything spectacular in this thing but who knows, maybe I'll be able to spice them up down the road sometime.

 Handmade with Love

It wasn't too hard to think up ideas for the challenge. I had plenty of inspiration being at Disney with my kids and husband. Don't worry I definitely won't bore you with the ideas I came up with...okay maybe just one.
On day two, my son wanted a glow in the dark sword. He loved that thing for one whole night. Then it vanished, never to be seen again and so was his love for it. He then wanted something else. Funny thing is we couldn't exactly pack this new toy into our luggage so we had to check it at the airport. Even funnier is after half a week and he hasn't even touch it.  So, I decided to spin this story into an idea for piboidmo.

I'm glad to be home but sad that it went so darn fast.

For everyone involved with the PiBoIdMo this year I hope you're enjoying the challenge as well.  Also, if you wanted to share an interesting or funny way you've come up with any of your pibo ideas I'd love to hear them.

  1. Glad you had so much fun!
My favorite part of the challenge so far has been the mash up challenge. I've come up with three unique ideas because of that one!

  2. Glad you had fun. We're visiting in January! My ideas often tend to be situational. Having a bad toddler day at the grocery store? Well, surprise, I think of a story idea involving a similar situation. Enjoy the rest of the month.
