I'm working on a children's story and need a little help naming my monster. He's a little guy who is brave, determined, but not one bit scary. (He sort of resembles a mouse) Which name do you like best?
1. Gurgle
2. Norris
3. Speck
4. Grub
5. Any suggestions?
Grub is good because a physical description comes to mind (a dirty little monster). Is he a grimy little guy?
ReplyDeleteI didn't make him out to be dirty, but now that you asked, I might build that into his character and see if it plays out in my story. Thanks for the help Emily.
ReplyDeleteHi Jenny - I like the names of choice you have. I also like Milo (means uncertain, perhaps peaceful, soldier). Good luck with the new story. Can't wait to see it in print!
ReplyDeleteMilo is a great name. I really like the meaning too. Thanks for your thoughts and help Maeve.
ReplyDeleteI like Norris - Grub sounds too unappealing.
ReplyDeleteI love Speck. Norris is cool, too.
ReplyDeleteThanks so much Peggy!
ReplyDeleteI like Norris best :O)
ReplyDeleteThanks Madeleine!
ReplyDeleteNorris is so cute! I just want to pick him up and rub his little head as he wiggles his little nose. :)
ReplyDeleteThank you Kelley, glad you liked that name. It seems to be the winner! :)
ReplyDeleteJennifer I like Speck, It is more fun to say. Happy writing!
