So, you know what that means? It's time for the It's Getting Hot in Here Blog Hop hosted over at Cassie Cook's blog Reading, Writing and Lovin' it and Hope Roberson's blog Writing with Hope
I chose to share excerpt from one of my favorite books, The Notebook by Nicholas Sparks.
They lay back, close to the fire, and the heat made the air seem thick. Her back was slightly arched as he rolled on top of her in one fluid motion. He was on all fours above her, his knees astride her hips. She lifted her head and kissed his chin and neck, breathing hard, licking his shoulders, and tasting the sweat that lingered on his body. She ran her hands through his hair as he held himself above her, his arm muscles hard from exertion. With a little tempting frown, she pulled him closer, but he resisted.
I need to read this book. I'm not much of a chick flick watcher, but I do love romantic books.
ReplyDeleteYou won't be disappointed. Thanks for co-hosting Cassie
